The Theodore Lybrook Memorial Foundation was established by the Lybrook Family to honor the life, values, and legacy of Theodore “Ted” Lybrook, a lifelong farmer, steward of the land, and devoted member of the agricultural community.

TED LYBROOK MEMORIAL RIDE 9/20/26 〰️

This year, we’re celebrating Ted's birthday the way he would’ve loved most - on two wheels, bicycling open roads, and enjoying good company. Whether you’re riding through the roads of Preble County, along your favorite local trail, or joining us in person, please join as as we remember Ted and raise funds for the Theodore Lybrook Memorial Scholarship Fund for 2027.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Ride wherever you are, whenever it fits your day. This is a “ride your own ride” event - no start lines, no pressure, just movement in honor of Ted.

1. Set a goal: ride a few miles or a full-day trek

2. Fundraise your way: ask friends and family to pledge per mile or make a flat donation

3. Share your journey: post photos from your ride and tag us so we can celebrate with you

Local Ride Gathering: For those nearby, the family will be riding together on the scenic Little Miami Scenic Trail - a favorite path of Ted's. We’ll wrap up the ride with a casual celebration at Ramsey’s Trailside.

Born on September 21st, 1965 in Hamilton, Ohio, Ted grew up with a deep connection to the land, taking over the family farm to honor generations of dedication and commitment. He transformed the farm into not just a livelihood, but a legacy. Ted was a 1983 graduate of Eaton High School and proud alumnus of Miami University. Ted carried the spirit of the Miami Redskins in his heart, remaining a loyal fan of his alma mater throughout his life. Despite occasional grumbling, he was a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Ted proudly served as the Fiscal Officer for Israel Township, was an avid supporter of the Preble County Junior Fair, loved NASCAR, cycling, and spending time boating on the lake.
